The film manages to establish its atmosphere quite effectively and keeps the audience engaged from the very beginning. The story itself is relatively simple, but the way it builds tension and fear gives it a certain impact. The presentation is strong, although the transitions between some sequences feel slightly restrained. At times, the narrative seems to stretch beyond what is necessary, affecting the overall pace. Both halves maintain a fairly consistent level of quality, and the directorβs control over the material is evident throughout. The characters are well defined and the performances feel appropriately grounded. That said, the film could have benefited from a stronger and more distinctive creative vision. Austin Abrams delivers a standout performance, carrying the film with a convincing screen presence. The supporting cast is well chosen, while the villainous characters are effectively portrayed. Technically, the film is impressive in several areas β cinematography, lighting, locations and visual composition all contribute significantly to its dark atmosphere. --- π₯ ππππππ ππππ The second half continues with the same level of intensity, but the pacing occasionally feels slower than it should. Some portions seem unnecessarily extended, preventing the narrative from moving with the urgency it demands. The editing, however, is handled effectively, and the dialogues feel natural rather than forced. The stronger lines are well suited to the characters and situations. One of the filmβs strengths is its ability to create an emotional connection beneath the horror. On the big screen, the atmosphere and horror sequences deliver a noticeable theatrical impact. It may not be the kind of horror film that makes you immediately want to watch it again, but certain scenes and moments remain in your mind even after the credits roll. Ultimately, Resident Evil is the kind of film that different viewers may experience differently. You may love it. You may not. And thatβs part of cinema. π¬ β πππππππ ππππ: A well-crafted horror experience driven by strong performances, atmospheric visuals and solid technical execution. Its pacing occasionally holds it back, but the film still manages to leave a lasting impression. ππππππ: 6 / ππ Thank You β€οΈ
