About This Movie
In the ritual-heavy village of Methanam, priest Appu warns Rajan against cutting down a sacred Pala tree, but Rajan ignores him and dies three days later. When Appu predicts that five more family members will die within 16 days, panic spreads through the household. Rajans skeptical son dismisses the prophecy as a hoax, leading to a series of unexpected and comic attempts to escape the supposed curse.

Ottam Thullal – Disappointing Watch Ottam Thullal had an interesting premise, but the execution falls short. The screenplay feels weak and predictable, with several scenes lacking the impact they seem to aim for. The pacing is inconsistent, and the story struggles to maintain interest for most of the runtime. The performances are decent, but they aren’t enough to overcome the film’s writing and direction issues. Overall, it feels like a missed opportunity with plenty of room for improvement. Rating: ⭐⭐/5 A movie that could have been much better with a tighter screenplay, better pacing, and stronger execution.

A movie some comedy scenes but many of the comedy scenes ain't working well especially Ashokn's. I expect more more from him when i see him in big-screen again. Vijay Ragavan was good as always 1st-half was good except comedy scenes but in 2nd there was transformation scene that was not really even needed the aura that character made was all gone down but in other hand it was perfectly executed and conveyed too
